Description of the position:

You will work in the cell Bank Frontend which is responsible for 5 IT products. In your role as Application Specialist in Bank Frontend you will uses following systems: Windows, Unix (Solaris/Linux), Websphere/TomCat, Oracle, MS-SQL, Perl, Shell, HOST and Loadbalancing.

The scope of tasks assigned to this position is defined via one or more of these roles and is specified in more detail in the following section.

1. Understanding complex applications and their dependencies, data flows and their business purpose in order to integrate new modules, changes or releases into our IT landscape
2. Active monitoring of applications
3. Incidents and problems handling
4. Analysis and Providing workarounds, troubleshooting of the issues
5. Optimise operation in production
6. Fulfills committed tasks according to position’s requirements

What you will be doing?

You are involved in all steps in the lifecycle of a software development starting with:
1. Support Analyzing, resolving and Troubleshooting / First Line Analysis of technical and business problems
2. Documenting IT faults in Output-Management
3. Implementation of changes in the production process as per change request
4. Assurance of interrupted availability of the applications / services
5. Manual intervention in automatic processes in conjunction with the product managers or on request
6. Handling of changes/inicidents/problems with ticketing systems
7. Supporting the Test-environment for System-Testingg

Alternative tasks:

1. Escalation if faults as per guidelines to the respective on-call service or alternatively to the escalation manager
2. Identification of operating optimization potential as well development and implementation of respective concepts
for their realization
3. Support/consulting for application developers

Which technology & skills are important for us?

• Unix- good knowladge
• English - B2 level
• German - B1- B2 level

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of SQL/Oracle
• Basic knowledge of ticketing systems,
• Basic knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Basic knowladge of Tivoli
• Basic knowladge of Dynatrace
