Your Role and Responsibilities

Currently we are looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our team.

Enterprise Architects for Technology Modernization & Transformation work across the GTS Technology Consulting & Implementation Services (TCIS) portfolio partnering closely with TCIS Consultants to provide architectural services to clients in a consulting or project engagement. They have a strong knowledge of emerging technologies and are able to articulate the value of IBM services in the context of the client’s business objectives. These architects guide the strategy and roadmap across multiple implementation services being delivered in parallel or succession and can support both integration into the client’s overall enterprise infrastructure and service management model.

This job ad is for IBM CIC in Wroclaw, but work can be done remotely from any place in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Manage clients architecture documentation and plans for services integration
• Ensure that security and compliance requirements are architected & working correctly, meeting the clients and account needs
• Ensure a high usage of standard integration assets (Processes, Tools, OLAs, Dashboards) by working with solution architects, Service Integration Leaders (SILs), Chief Architects and Transition & Transformation teams (T&T)
• Ensure that the requirements are documented and provided to the appropriate services organization for future development consideration
• Support innovative integration activities, including new automation and offering capabilities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Practical knowledge of public clouds (one or more from: IBM Cloud, Amazon (AWS), Microsoft (Azure), Google (GCM))
• Practical knowledge of private cloud and containers (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker), knowledge of GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, Jenkins or other DevOps tools
• Knowledge of basic containerization concepts and supporting tools (CI/CD, Operators, Helm charts, Istio service mesh)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, knowledge of SQL and Agile concepts
• Architecture Framework applicable knowledge (TOGAF, Zachman, TeamSD)
• Strong English Speaking and Client Facing Skills

This position currently sits within Global Technology Services (GTS) Infrastructure Services (IS) or a shared services function supporting GTS.
