Now is an exciting time to join the R&D Tech organization and help to drive a step change in technology strategy and delivery. The IT Engineer, R & D Systems, is a key role for the Safety Product Team, providing an opportunity to expand your expertise within a global environment within the critical space of Pharmacovigilance.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include the following:
  • Drive the Agile process within the Safety Product Team, i.e. lead Agile ceremonies, collect and report data to show project progress
  • Support the team with project administration i.e project finances, project status updates, document archival, change approvals
  • Work with Product Owners to handle product backlogs and new requests
  • Provide support to Product Designer in facilitation and management of end user workshops
  • Identify and implement operational and efficiency improvements
  • Partner with the business to understand their challenges and needs, whilst working to manage system and process changes

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrable experience of working with Agile Principles
  • Knowledge of system lifecycle management (preferably within a PV environment)
  • An understanding of business and user-centric analysis
  • An appreciation for design and process improvement
  • Very good English skills - level B2/ C1 (communicating with teams from other countries)

Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Experience in programming PL/SQL, Python, R
  • Experience in data science / analytics
  • Experience working with Agile tools i.e Jira, GitHub
