Job Description & Summary
A career within the Chinese Business Group in PwC Czech Republic will provide you with the opportunity to help our Chinese clients in the CEE region for making their investments more successful. You are expected to deal flexibly with our customers’ underlying needs, demands and expectations.

You will help build bridges between Chinese investors and our professionals, filling up gaps in business cultures, engaging our customers, delivering satisfactory experience of our professional support and enhancing our brand in the region.

As a Manager, you will work as part of the Asian Business Group in the CEE region, helping to solve difficult business issues that Chinese companies face in a throughout business process from a strategic set-up to operational execution.
Your role and responsibilities:

• Conduct various business development activities to generate new projects from Chinese markets in the CEE region (mainly Czech Republic and Hungary)
  
• Maintain existing relationships with Chinese companies and keep close contact with Chinese local business communities
  
• Anticipate Chinese management needs, and develop and discuss potential issues and solutions with clients in cooperation with our professionals
  
• Cooperate with PwC China mainland offices
  
• Increase technical knowledge related to our services as an accounting firm
  
• Enhance PwC brand by utilizing effective marketing tools and build trust among stakeholders
  
• Manage and navigate Chinese Business Group in the region and monitor performance of the group
  
• Initiate and lead communications with team members of Chinese Business Group
  
• Coach Chinese junior staff in the region and develop their capabilities
  
• Report periodically its activities/opportunities/performance
  
• Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct
  
  

Our requirements:

• Previous experience in the area related to finance , accounting, tax and/or legal, preferably having c onsulting experience, ideally at least three years of experience in our industry
  
• A university degree with the background in economics, commerce, accounting or law
  
• Excellent English language skills as well as Chinese at a native level
  
• Experience ideally from business development for Chinese companies in the Czech Republic
