As the scale and pace of our transformation increases, we are establishing a new organisation structure called Value and Experience Management (VEM) to unleash value realisation using data and analytics.

Scope

This is a new and exciting opportunity to drive value realisation in the market operations by leveraging the wealth of data available through our platforms and processes. The Performance Analytics and Insights Analyst role sits within the newly created Value and Experience Management Team which will work closely with our & Categories and selected Markets Partners to deliver value across all customer operations activities from planning through to collection of cash. The VEM team will focus on ensuring value is being delivered through our operations globally, use data and analytics to identify additional value opportunities, partner with the wider Unilever teams and Partners to drive solutions and measure & report the results in a virtuous value creation cycle.

The Successful Individual Will
  • Provide analytics-based performance management, monitor operations, identify trends and opportunities across the end-to-end Customer Operations processes to help identify gaps and opportunities to focus energy on top priorities.
  • Deliver data driven insights to root cause and qualify performance, trends, gaps and opportunities
  • Partner with the wider ecosystem (Markets, Performance Delivery Network, Design SME and Partners) in cross functional initiatives to identify and drive additional value for the markets
Key Accountabilities

Support Global and Regional Process Teams and Performance Delivery Teams across the following activities:
  • Converging various data streams (business KPIs, operational data, IT performance metrics, performance KPIs, etc) to generate visibility and insights on value delivery and operational performance
  • Drive better prioritisation and decision making by providing analytics and insights on value and operational performance
  • Drive identification and qualification of value and performance gaps and opportunities using analytics and data driven root causing
  • Leverage analytics to monitor and deliver insights on user and customer experience
  • Drive insights on past performance as well as identify emerging trends in market and partner operational performance
  • Work in cross functional teams to drive design and deployment of solutions to close identified gaps and unlock additional value in markets
  • Drive benchmarking and cross-pollination of best practices across markets in region and globally
  • Develop analytics dashboards through Partners and Unilever analytics teams to enhance value delivery and operational performance
Experience And Qualifications Required
  • Business acumen and customer centric mindset
  • E2E function agnostic integrator (non-silo mentality) comfortable with engaging a wider stakeholder set to drive outcomes
  • Ability to leverage analytical skills to correlate cross functional data streams to generate insights and hypothesis
  • Strong communication skills to articulate analysis and insights to key stakeholders
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other analytical tools
  • Operational experience in one or more process areas will be preferred
  • Written and spoken English language skills
  • Successful history of Business Partnering within or to a Country/Function
  • Demonstrable Agile mindset and capabilities
