For our Client, an international manufacturing company located in the neighbourhood of Wrocław, we are looking for a candidate for the Plant Manager position.

Scope of responsibilities:

  • Manage all manufacturing processes and areas in the plant
  • Manage reporting support functions in the organization
  • Manage annual budget planning and budget execution
  • Increase production efficiency, assets capacity and flexibility while minimising unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
  • Support the organization in everyday operations
  • Provide short and long term objectives for the plant and execute to those objectives
  • Develop local strategies in line with strategic company initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus on implementation
  • Ensure proper implementation of company standards and policies
  • Control plant costs and performance against objectives and targets
  • Improve systems, metrics and processes to track plant performance against targets and standards
  • Drive employee engagement together with continuous improvement mind-set
  • Ensure all plant operations comply with company and legal Health & Safety requirements
  • Monitor operational performance and trigger corrective actions if required
  • Build relationship with the workgroup based on mutual trust and respect
  • Provide guidance and leadership to all plant employees. Support, motivate and lead the team to achieve business results. Recruit, train and supervise staffing in order to develop succession plans for future growth and stability
  • Stay up to date with latest manufacturing best practices and concepts

Requirements for the Candidate:

  • Proven work experience as a plant manager in automotive industry or similar role
  • University degree in Engineering, Business or Operation Management area
  • Knowledge of operations, business and financial management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
  • Experience in change management and development projects
  • Knowledge of industry standards, requirements and technical expertise
  • Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods and tools
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Decision-making and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under the pressure of time
  • Very good English skills
