Your Role and Responsibilities

Currently, we are looking formSAP Basis Specialist. As an SAP Systems Management Specialist at IBM, you will support numerous critical SAP systems. You will have to use problem-solving skills, and technical expertise to effectively support SAP applications within our clients’ business environment and achieve business results. The role requires experience in working as an SAP Basis specialist in SAP environments. You will manage SAP technical installations, configurations, and support the technical project implementations. This covers multiple HANA DBs and SAP applications. You will support the SAP technical application and database layers for SAP components.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1 or more years of experience on SAP Basis - basic experience
• Basic experience with at least 2 databases (one should be Hana and the other could be DB2, Oracle, MSSQL or Sybase)
• Experience with multiple solutions from SAP (ECC, ERP, BW, SCM, S4HANA, PI/PO, BOBJ, GRC)
• Basic experience on Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with ITIL and at least one ticketing tool
• Accept working in shifts, covering weekends during normal working

This position currently sits within Global Technology Services (GTS) Infrastructure Services (IS) or a shared services function supporting GTS.
